Very friendly, knowledgeable and fair prices
I’m sure these guys do good work, but I will be much more careful if I buy another car from them. My family recently bought a Subaru from them for the top of the Blue Book price range for cars of this type in excellent shape sold from dealers. We were repeatedly assured that all regular maintenance was up to date and the car was good to go. At first minor things got our attention: the gas tank was just about empty when we bought it, the wiper fluid was completely empty, it was overdue for an oil change, etc. Then the bigger things got our attention: all four tires leaked and had to be replaced (this after we were assured several times that while they were old they had a lot of life left in them), both serpentine belts were so frayed our regular mechanic told us they had to be replaced, and the rear brakes were practically falling apart and also had to be replaced as a matter of basic safety. I totally get having to do a lot of work on a used car, but this much work and extra costs for a car that we already paid a top notch price for is not okay. I still like the car (now that everything safely works!), but it was not at all what we thought we were buying. We are in the process of negotiating with City Limit Motors to address these issues, and I will update this review with any changes. Let’s hope they live up to their good reputation.
Jonathan and Danny are excellent mechanics and very trustworthy. I wouldn't take my Subaru to anyone else. They always work my car in when there is something wrong that can't wait, no matter how busy they are. I really appreciate the service they provide!
