In response to the owner: I'm not publishing my name on the Internet next to yours, no way. However, if you want to push the issue, I'll add that I have both your quote and recommendation to replace the entire system as well as the actual repair bill for fixing the diversion valve from another place along with their notes that the compressor and rest of the system appeared to be recently replaced. I guess when you decided it'd be nice to make a little extra money you forgot the Internet never forgets.
WARNING WARNING WARNING: This is yet another rip off shop!! These guys charged me $50 to tell me my entire air conditioning system needed replaced for almost $2000. I took it to another shop and was told most of my system had already been replaced recently (I haven't had the car long). They fixed it by replacing a valve WAY cheaper and it works great. Bottom line: They were just trying to make extra money. For all I know, they weren't really going to replace all the parts since they were apparently new anyway. Makes me wonder, but BEWARE!
I've found them to be extremely trustworthy, they are very thorough and quick to recommend affordable alternatives when things start to get pricy.
