The staff are always very nice. They have great country style food and burgers. I tried the trout and it was great. My kids love this place.
The best boasted chicken in the hemisphere! Truly a family restaurant still operated by one of the original sisters, maiden name of Golden...hence "Golden Girls." Their food is family fare, well prepared and served by people who care. They also have excellent desserts...I hope to see you there....
I would give it a 3 and 1/2 if I could. Not quite three not quite four. Biscuits were amazing gravy not so much. Omelette was just okay, but their desserts are amazing. Waitress was really good, but the place does need some TLC. New menus, new tables and their countertop when you first come in truly needs to be redone because people can see that. The Rustic look looks great, just a little TLC
Love the southern cooking. Deserts are always fresh and so yummy. I go at least 2 or 3 times a month . The staff is exceptionally friendly.
When I go to Golden Girls, I always go on Sunday and get the Chicken and Dumplings. They are amazing! Add some fried okra and green beans and you got yourself a great meal. I drink water and the bill is less than $10 plus tip. Why go to some fast food joint when you can eat a good traditional "home cooked" meal for the same price? I'm gonna be sad when this place is gone.
